I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with 22 years of experience, currently offering virtual therapy to clients in Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee.
I’m so glad you’re here. I hope this can be a space where you feel safe to slow down, reflect, and begin to reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll explore what it means for you to live well—by your values, in your way—even when life feels uncertain or difficult.
My approach is grounded in helping you move toward the life you want to be living: one filled with meaning, connection, and self-compassion. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in people-pleasing, or simply unsure of how to begin making change—I’m here to walk alongside you.
We’ll work collaboratively to identify what matters most to you, and take small, manageable steps toward it. Therapy doesn’t have to be perfect or polished. It just needs to be real.
Hey, I’m Amy
You will get there. Until then, be here. This moment matters.
A Little About Me
I’m currently based in Missouri, where I live with my husband, our dog, and two very opinionated cats. As a military spouse, I understand the stress that comes with change, transition, and holding space for others while trying to care for yourself.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alaska, and my Master of Social Work from the University of Maine.
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me reading, baking, knitting, or collecting sweary coffee mugs—yes, that’s absolutely a thing. I love quiet mornings, a good book, and moments of laughter in unexpected places.
My Approach
I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build awareness, shift patterns, and take values-based action. Our work will be collaborative, compassionate, and centered on what feels meaningful to you.
No pressure. No perfection. Just space to grow, heal, and feel more like yourself again.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a highly effective therapy that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, or low self-esteem, we’ll work together to challenge negative thoughts and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is a therapy focused on embracing difficult feelings instead of trying to avoid them. It helps you connect with your values, practice mindfulness, and take action that’s aligned with what matters most to you—even in the face of anxiety or distress. ACT can help you develop greater psychological flexibility and resilience in everyday life.
Let’s Talk
I’d love to connect and hear more about what living your life well looks like for you.
20 Seconds
can change everything
“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”
― Benjamin Mee, We Bought a Zoo
